Veterans Maintenance Solutions assists current and former members of the US Military and their families with maintenance and accessibility concerns with their homes. We accomplish this by being a resource for: Raising funds for home repairs Coordinating maintenance and work Solving accessibility issues Staying current on available housing repair grants Networking with other organizations that help veterans
Background:
We began meeting and discussing this nonprofit in September 2018; and on May 17, 2019 we were official. We currently have three volunteer board members and a number of advisors on the committee. We have fundraisers at different locations in Central IL to help raise money for veterans and will continue to do so.
What We Do:
We have a team of professionals that we work alongside to handle repair projects in homes. Our long term goal is to help all veterans be able to obtain affordable, safe, accessible, and quality housing in our Central IL community.
Our Goals:
-Help veterans with existing maintenance needs -Help disabled veterans have a safe home -Help veterans safely stay in their homes. -Maintain communication with all parties involved
